Our Baby, Family, SEND and Outdoor sessions currently take place in Wythenshawe, Radcliffe, Longsight and Oldham.
There are no sessions in Oldham or Baguley on the Monday 19th October.
There is no session in Baguley on Monday 23rd November.
Our skilled Community Team bring stories to life. Our sessions are packed full of puppets, songs, signs, lights, sounds, textures and smells to stimulate children’s senses whilst developing their communication skills.
Each class is themed around a popular fairytale or real-life story. Each session contains a Speech and Language Therapy strategy with online support so you can continue using these strategies at home. You'll also find our team modelling communication strategies throughout our classes!
Sessions last one hour, 45 minutes of story session with 15 minutes for refreshments and opportunities to connect with other parents and carers.
When you book onto our session, we'll ask if there's any information that might help us to support your family as well as dietary requirements and allergens.
We'll often pop updates into our Whatsapp group so you know what activities are coming up.
Our Baby and Family take place indoors.
Baby sessions are for those aged 0-18 months and are most suited to those who are not yet on the move or crawling. You're welcome at our Baby sessions with even the littlest babies - our communication strategies can be used from any age.
Family sessions are for all ages 0-5 years however you might find they're best suited to those who are walking and running around.
Siblings are welcome at all sessions and sessions are inclusive.
We offer sessions that are dedicated for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). These sessions are child led, are adapted to suit a range of SEND needs and offer a supportive environment for those diagnosed and undiagnosed SEND needs.
These sessions take place indoors or outdoors in line with our timetable.
Siblings are welcome at all sessions.
The outdoors brings lots of opportunity for communication! Our Family Outdoor sessions are designed for all ages, and our SEND Outdoor sessions are exclusively for children with SEND needs.
Our sensory activities capitalise on the outdoor settings we are based in! You will want to bring a coat and appropriate footwear and if the weather is really bad, we might be a both indoors and outdoors.

Chelsey can help with concerns such as speech and language difficulties, building conversational skills, listening and attention, developing social skills, and strengthening functional communication for everyday life.
