Building on ten years as an impactful social enterprise in Manchester, Twinkleboost is now a registered charity. Our mission is to equip parents and carers with communication confidence, community and connection through community sessions and digital resources. Speech and language therapy support is central to our current approach, but communication goes beyond words. A child’s communication comes in many forms and stages, especially for those with specialist educational needs and disabilities. We want all communication to be nurtured – signing and non-verbal communication for example – laying foundations for families to thrive.
We are a small, dedicated team who put Twinkleboost families and inclusion at the heart of everything we do. We understand the profound connection between speech, language and communication and broader learning, education, health, wellbeing and relationships. We want to ensure that parents and carers have access to light touch, meaningful support and resources, equipping them with accessible strategies and ideas to build communication confidence into daily life.

Laura has nearly 20 years of charity sector experience in local, regional and national roles. She leads on all aspects of operational and strategic activity at Twinkleboost.
